Faculty of Social Sciences

The Faculty of Social Sciences is home to outstanding scholars and students interested in exploring the complex depths and dimensions of humanity and society across space and time. The Faculty is host to a range of academic programs including communications, history, justice studies, political science, psychology, sociology, and social work. The Faculty is the academic home to the university’s National Public Radio (NPR) affiliated radio station, WSNC 90.5 FM as well as other teaching and research initiatives.
