Programs & Initiatives
The Faculty of Education believes that a diverse faculty, staff, and student body is essential to our educational mission. Our commitment to diversity reflects the broad goals and aspirations embraced by Winston-Salem State University since its founding. Diversity is one of the critical components of our unit's conceptual framework and is the basis of our commitment to teaching, leadership, and service. Our search for faculty, staff, and students represents a diligent attempt to identify persons who represent diversity with respect to ethnicity, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, socioeconomic backgrounds, and abilities. Our non-discriminatory policies reflect our commitment to foster mutual respect for all who work and study in our community. We explicitly assert our commitment to social justice, fairness, and respect for all.
