The WSSU Department of Housing and Residence Life Announces Partnership with The Station Townhomes

We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with The Station Townhomes, expanding housing opportunities for our WSSU students for the 2024-2025 academic year! This collaboration aims to provide secure, comfortable, and convenient living arrangements, helping our students thrive both academically and socially.

This opportunity is available for all qualifying students who: 

  • Has an existing Housing Assignment 

  • Does not have a housing assignment but completed the application and is on the waitlist. 

  • Does not have a housing assignment and has not completed a housing application. 

  • * Please note that Ram Residents who live in our townhome properties must abide by our rules, regulations, and student code of conduct, including but not limited to room checks, RA/Staff guidance, HRL processes and procedures, etc. 

Eligibility Requirements for The Station Ram Residents 

  • Classification: Junior, Senior, Graduate Students 

  • GPA: Minimum 2.5 

  • University Standing: Must be in good standing with the University Conduct/Civility Office.

Disclaimer: Students with existing leases cannot move their lease under our WSSU Housing contract. 

Disclaimer: Application/ Interest Submission does not guarantee you a bed space at The Station.  

  • Students in need of Housing but do not meet the outlined requirements for The Station will have an opportunity to apply for newly available on-campus housing as space permits. We ask that you remain patient with our team as we work to transition and place students quickly.  

Timeline and Key Milestones 

  • August 6, 2024, 4:00 pm: Virtual Interest Meeting via Zoom (Registration Required)

  • August 7, 2024: Interest Form Opens for Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students 

    • The Station Interest form is available via the Housing Portal! Log in using your WSSU Credentials. 

  • August 9, 2024, at 5:00 pm: Interest Form Closes 

  • August 12, 2024: All The Station Housing Assignments Completed by 5:00 pm 

  • August 14, 2024: Mandatory ‘The Station’ Ram Residents Meeting 

  • August 18, 2024: Move-In Day (8:00 am - 4:00 pm)

  • $5,508 per semester

    * This includes a property parking pass, utilities, 24-hour emergency maintenance
