WSSU ascends rankings in U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges 2025

Winston-Salem State University earned impressive rankings in the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges 2025. WSSU was recognized among top public colleges and universities, best HBCUs, social mobility and the nursing program. The most significant achievement is WSSU’s surge ahead by 40 spots in the national universities ranking.
WSSU announces Dean’s List for 2023-2024 academic year

Winston-Salem State University’s Office of the Registrar has announced students making the Dean’s List for the 2023-2024 academic year. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must be full-time (12 semester hours or above), earn an academic grade point average of 3.0 or higher with no grade below a ‘C’, and have no incomplete grades on their report.CollegeNET ranks WSSU No. 2 in the nation for being a social mobility innovator
