WSSU’s website makes top 100 list

WSSU's recently revamped website is chosen as one of the best designed university websites in the world.

A digital marketing agency has named Winston-Salem State University’s website one of the best designed university websites in the world.

WSSU ranks no. 81 on the list from Glorywebs’ list of the top 100. The site notes WSSU’s bold striking design and “big fonts impart uniqueness.”

WSSU.edu was one of only three North Carolina universities on the list (Duke and Campbell were the other two) and one of only two historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

Gloryweb says the ranking is based on simplicity of navigation, organized layout and effective communication.

WSSU’s website debuted June 1 in support of the university’s new brand platform. The 18-month project was a collaboration between WSSU’s Web Support Services and Integrated Marketing Communications.
