Personal issues, planning for life events or simply managing daily life can affect your work, health and family. The Winston-Salem State University Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides support, resources and information for personal and work-life issues. The EAP is university-sponsored, confidential and provided at no charge to you and your dependents, this page explains how the EAP can help you and your family deal with everyday challenges. This app is formerly Ginger-Offers on-demand, convenient, confidential mental healthcare through coaching via text-based chats, self-guided activities, and video-based therapy and psychiatry- all from the privacy of your smartphone. Coaches are available 24/7, 365 days per year. This app is available on your smartphone. To access:
Step 1: From your device- search for Headspace Care (Ginger) in the Apple or Google Play store and install the app. (If you already had the Ginger app- it Automatically updated to Headspace)
Step 2: In the app, click "create account" and then "my organization"
Step 3: Complete the required steps. All Done!
Permanent or Temporary Faculty/Staff can purchase a membership to University Recreation for a fee. UREC offers 3 floors of amenities in DJR building.
