What is a Legacy Leader?
A Legacy Leader is a student who has been enrolled at WSSU for at least a year. Legacy Leaders assist and welcome new first-time freshmen, transfer students, and adult learner. During Ramdition, Legacy Leaders will guide you through the week and to the various sessions that you will need to attend.
Each incoming student will be matched with a Legacy Leader who will be your “tour guide” throughout your first year and beyond. They will share insights and strategies to help you navigate your first year at WSSU. Legacy Leaders will give you an insider’s view of the diverse academic, intellectual, and social culture of WSSU.
Legacy Leaders are selected for their knowledge, positive outlooks, and academic achievements. Legacy Leaders play a pivotal role in ensuring that you are prepared for success in your first year of college life. Legacy Leaders will become your direct connection to administration here at WSSU for the rest of your time on campus.
