At the WSSU Biomedical Research Infrastructure Center, students don’t just study science—they practice it. Our student researchers work side-by-side with faculty mentors in state-of-the-art laboratories, gaining hands-on experience with real scientific techniques, equipment, and inquiry-based projects. From designing experiments to analyzing data and presenting their findings, students become active contributors to meaningful research that advances knowledge and strengthens their preparation for STEM careers and graduate studies. BRIC provides an environment where curiosity is encouraged, skills are developed, and future scientists thrive.
