Our Partners
Academic, Government and Community Partners
We welcome involvement of multiple stakeholders from academia, industry, government, private, and non-profit sectors in various ways to identify factors that impede or enable inclusion and diversity in data science research and education. The center leverages Advisory Board members and other community engagements to invite academia, industry, non-profit, and government agency participation in annual symposium and monthly seminars. These on-going partnerships will be crucial to sustain center operations such as interdisciplinary research, curriculum improvement, student internships, and career placement etc. If you or your organization in interested in engagement and partnerships, please contact.
Innovation and Incubation
The center houses an Innovation and Incubation program where local stakeholders and domain experts with important practical data-driven problems can seek the expertise of center personnel and students in solving them. The center is also interested in building an effective relationship with private sectors which may lead to commercialization and investments from local industries. Please contact us if you have such problems and would like to make an impact to our local community.
Community Engagement
We encourage WSSU and surrounding communities to get involved with the center activities. The center will run regular K-12 outreach activities such as workshops and camps at local middle and high schools in order to engage both K-12 students and teachers in the awareness of how data science can be integrated into their curricula as well.
