Microsoft 365 for Education is WSSU’s student e-mail system available through Microsoft Outlook Live. This new system allows students to have 50 GB email storage.
This new system allows us to offer enhanced e-mail services to students, including greatly increased storage capacity, without cost to the university.Microsoft 365 for Education gives students a 50 GB mailbox. In addition, through Windows Live services, students have 15 GB of secure online storage (via OneDrive), integration with the university's Global Address List, calendaring feature for personal, academic and student use (record appointments, share calendars, schedule meetings), and many other services (Photos, Instant Messaging, Profiles, etc.).
Your e-mail address will be RAMID@rams.wssu.edu, where RAMID is the same as your WSSU username. View email instructions. View email instructions.
Your Windows Live ID is the same as your new e-mail address - username@rams.wssu.edu.
Go to Microsoft Outlook Live and sign-on with username@rams.wssu.edu and your current password.
The new Microsoft 365 for Education service can be accessed via desktop, web, or mobile devices by going directly to www.outlook.com/rams.wssu.edu. Students will be able to access their new email in any browser.

Although the new WSSU student e-mail addresses will be automatically entered into Banner and Blackboard, WSSU departments and divisions may need to update any other existing databases, spreadsheets, or local distribution lists by changing the e-mail address from username@wssu.edu to username@rams.wssu.edu).
