Title III

The Title III Programs at Winston-Salem State University are funded through the U.S. Department of Education, Strengthening Historically Black Colleges and Universities Program. The funds are authorized under Part B, Sections 323 and 326 of the Higher Education Act of 1965 as amended. The intent is to provide financial assistance to establish or strengthen the academic resources, management capabilities, physical plants and endowment building capacity of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Title III grant funds at Winston-Salem State University support a variety of initiatives designed to strengthen various academic programs, administrative operations, faculty development and student support services.

Winston-Salem State University's Title III Grant is administered through the Division of Academic Affairs.
