Wall named chief of staff

Letitia C. Wall has been named chief of staff and operations officer for Winston-Salem State University’s Office of the Chancellor.

In her new role, Wall, who has worked at WSSU for 20 years, will provide oversight for the day-to-day operations of the office of the chancellor. She will be responsible for a wide range of duties that advance the university’s reputation, mission, and vision while ensuring the success of the chancellor by providing exceptional leadership and effective management in administration, project oversight, communications, relationship-building, and decision making.

She will also serve as the principal aide and advisor on important university operational matters in addition to providing coordination of strategic direction, goals, and initiatives. Her duties will include supervision of administrative staff, fiscal management, and operational oversight of the campus units that report to the chancellor.

Wall’s new job is an executive cabinet-level position with WSSU.

Wall has worked in several administrative positions during her twenty years at the university, including associate provost for administration and planning and assistant dean for administrative services in the School of Health Sciences.
