Chick-fil-A Express joins WSSU dining options
Trending at Winston-Salem State University: New dining choices.
On Thursday, Oct. 12, Chancellor Elwood L. Robinson and other WSSU administrators cut the ribbon for the grand opening of Chick-fil-A Express, the newest addition to the dining stations at the Donald J. Reaves Student Activities Center Food Court.
The location offers many Chick-fil-A favorites, including chicken sandwiches, salads, nuggets and waffle fries.
“This is an excellent opportunity for WSSU to improve the dining services we offer to our community,” says Jesse Batten, assistant vice chancellor, Business and Auxiliary Services. “Chick-fil-A is an exceptional brand, and we are proud to have them on our campus. Our students deserve the best and that is what we are bringing them.”
There have been a number of recent dining upgrades at WSSU.
This summer, WSSU completed $1.4 million in upgrades to Kennedy Dining Hall, with upgraded floors, seating repairs and upgrades and new server stations. The coffee shop in the Atkinson Science Building, opened with a new name – The Daily Grind – and look in February.
