Biography

Hello and welcome to my profile page!  I started working at WSSU in July 2005 in the STEM Scholars Program and moved to the Department of Behavioral Sciences in the summer of 2009 and now I support that department as well as the Department of Psychological Sciences.  When I'm not working, I enjoy reading (mostly romance, mystery, and autobiography novels), watching tv shows (mostly the Discovery Channel, Globe Trekker and The Big Bang Theory), football games, traveling, gardening, hiking, hard-core camping, movies, cooking, picnicking and spending time with my family and friends.  I have 3 teenagers with my husband of 20-plus years.

I have a few once-in-a-lifetime "adventure" bucket-list (because I think spending money on experiences rather than things makes me happier):

1.  Tour Europe and dine with a view of the Eiffel Tower alright at night
2.  Tour famous/historic places in the USA and its neighbors and friends.  To date, I've toured WI, NC, SC, NY, CT, CA, HI, NJ, MN, Canada, Laos, and Thailand.
3.  Tour the Taj Mahal and ride an elephant there. 
4.  View the Northern Lights from a glass igloo in Finland
5.  Ride in one of the ultra expensive cars (Rolls-Royce Sweptail, CCXR Trevita, Bugatti, Ferrari, Aston Martin, etc.) at least once.  To date, I've only been in a Lamborghini.  So if you're reading this and have any of the aforementioned cars, please feel free to invite/help me to fulfill my bucket list.
