Biography
Dr. Lewis was visiting faculty at SUNY Cortland, the College of Charleston, Clarion University of Pennsylvania, and Indian River Community College before becoming a tenure-track faculty at SUNO (Southern University at New Orleans) in 1991, where he would rise in rank to Associate Professor. After Hurricane Katrina flooded the University, resulting in the laying-off of over 50% of the faculty, Dr. Lewis came to WSSU.
