The Office of International Programs (OIP) is excited to work with you to help you complete all of the phases to be part of the WSSU Study Abroad Experience. Our office is located at 224 Hill Hall, The Student Success Center.
Phase One
Please complete these items first.

- Conduct and Disciplinary Approval Form - Please submit to the Office of Community Standards and Civility, 300 Thompson Center.
- OIP Study/Experience Application
- Study Abroad Application Essay
A 1,000-word essay addressing the Study Abroad Application Essay Reflection Questions.

- Experience Abroad Recommendation Form (2)

Phase Two
For students applying to non-WSSU programs (ISEP, UNCEP, AIFS, CIEE, SIT, etc)

- Course Approval Form - Discuss this with your academic advisor, get all necessary signatures, and then submit to OIP, 224 Hill Hall.
- Letter of Acceptance - Submit a copy of this letter or email from your provider showing that you have been accepted into the program for which you have applied. You can upload it below or email to OIP via email to brimde@wssu.edu.
- Flight Itinerary - Submit this by email or below as soon as you have made your flight reservations.

Phase Three
For all programs. Submit these within three weeks of departure.

- Release and Hold Harmless Agreement and Conditions of Participation
- Power of Attorney Form - Please have this notarized and then submit directly to OIP, 224 Hill Hall.
