Adverse Weather Message - January 9th, 8:15 p.m.

WSSU officials are closely monitoring the approach of the impending winter storm. Currently, our area is under a winter storm warning. Weather forecasts show Winston-Salem could receive 1-3 inches of snow and ice with precipitation beginning Friday afternoon, January 10. 

To allow faculty and staff the time to travel safely, the university will move to Condition 2 – Suspended Operations at 12 p.m. Friday, January 10. During this time, all activities on campus are canceled.

Kennedy Dining Hall will be open during regular weekend hours. Retail dining will close at noon on Friday and remain closed until 11 a.m. on Monday, January 13. 

WSSU officials will continually monitor the weather over the weekend and provide timely operational updates. Normal operations are scheduled to resume at noon on Sunday, January 12.
