Winston-Salem State University kicks off ‘The Ramily Road Tour’

Winston-Salem State University is excited to announce The Ramily Road Tour, coming soon to a city near you.

WSSU is hitting the road, offering high school students, parents, families and community leaders an opportunity to learn what makes WSSU’s Ramily (Ram family) so special.

At each stop, participants will get a chance to meet WSSU Chancellor Bonita Brown and learn about WSSU’s programs and campus life.

Admissions officers also will be on hand walking students through the process and admitting students on the spot. There will also be information on scholarships and ways to pay for college with music, food, fun and free giveaways featured throughout the event.

The tour dates are:

  • Oct 15 – Charlotte
    • Harding University High School Visit (morning)
    • Mallard Creek High School (afternoon)
    • Alumni Reception: 5:30-6:30 p.m., Hilton Charlotte University Place
    • Student/Parent Reception: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Hilton Charlotte University Place
    • 9-12 graders and parents are invited to register
    • Alumni are encouraged to attend the Student/Parent Reception
  • Feb 18 & 19, 2025: Forsyth County, NC
  • Mar 18, 2025: Durham, NC
  • Apr 22, 2025: Greenville, NC
  • May 1, 2025: Atlanta, GA
