Two 1-Day Research and Development Grant Writing Workshops – March 11 and May 14

In collaboration with our partners at the QEM Network, the WSSU Office of Sponsored Programs has scheduled 2 identical 1-day workshops focusing on NIH and NSF grants. These workshops will include intimate knowledge of the grant writing, submission, and review processes with experts who have had success in obtaining grant funding and who have served as program officers.

Bring your ideas for discussion as these 2 workshops will offer a variety of writing exercises and hands-on learning opportunities. Towards the end of each workshop, QEM and WSSU OSP will identify 7-8 projects to receive special attention from QEM staff. The more developed the idea the more likely it will be selected for consultation!

These 1-day workshops have been scheduled for:
  • 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on March 11
    • (Monday of Spring Break) in Hall-Patterson 228
  • 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on May 14
    • (Tuesday after graduation) in Hall-Patterson 228

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please register online to reserve your place at one of these workshop events.
